Default Word as editor to send email via Gmail

Email messages showed double line spacing when viewing with browser (IE &
Firefox). I found that it happened if Word was editor. The message was in
HTML format. It was fine if Word was not editor or was sent with other
email clients. Is there any way to fix it?

Thanks,

Charles

Use Shift+Return to start a new line or use word-wrapping.

After furious head scratching, Charles Leung asked:
