For the past week, when I on my computer and open my Outlook Express, there
would be a small window flashed out and asked me to re-enter my user-id and password again (under Singnet). I have to go to "Tools" then "Accounts" and then reconfigure my e-mail setting. It is always the server information that changes: the incoming mail (pop3) by default should be pop.singnet.com.sg, but it always appeared as 127.0.0.1. After I changed it to pop.singnet.com.sg, it works. However, when I on my computer next day (or few fours later) and open my outlook again, the same problem occurs, the incoming mail (pop3) in the configuration will again appears as 127.0.0.1. I called Singnet for technical help but what they told me is to reinstall outlook express. I am not convinced by their answer. Can anyone help me to resolve this? |
