Default How do I add my Peoplepc email to Outlook email accounts?

I am new to Outlook- (Using Outlook 2003)I am trying to set up the accounts,
I can't access my Peoplepc email from outlook, I can't send email from any
account- it stays in the "outbox"
I tried to reconfigure the Peoplepc account and still no luck. I walked
thru the "set up new email account" and still no luck. Can anyone help?

From the Peoplepc help:

Yes, you can check your email using Outlook Express version 5 or above. We
recommend that you update to the latest version of Outlook Express if you
are using version 4.5 or below. To see which version you have, open Outlook
Express, click on the "Help" link at the top of the window, then select
"About Outlook Express" to see the version number.

The PeoplePC POP3 Server name is mail.peoplepc.com and our SMTP Server name
is smtpauth.peoplepc.com. You must check the box that says "My server
requires authentication," and set the option to "use the same username and
password as the incoming mail server." In the Advanced Settings area, you
must also change the port number to 587.

Outlook settings should be exactly the same......

I have done all that- I still get the following messages-"The specified server was found but there was no response from the server please verify port and SSL information is correct." AND " Outlook could not connect to the incoming mail server (POP3) The problem could be your SSL or port setting for the incoming server verify your port and SSL settings.

Nonetheless, your issue is with PeoplePC. Call their support line. You pay
them, after all.

ToolsAccountsProperties, on the servers tap incoming mail should have
mail.peoplepc.com same for outgoing mail. Also check server requires
authentication
Advanced tab: outgoing mail 25, incoming mail 110
This is working for me.
