I have created a number of customized views for my contact folders in OL 03.
When I click "View / Arrange by / Current View / Define Views" I get the "Custom View Organizer" dialog box. In this box I have 12 Custom views, all of which are of the "Table" view type. In the column titled "Can be used on" 6 of the views say simply "This folder". The others say "This folder (private view)". Can someone tell me what the words "(private view)" mean? Thank you for your help. Bob |

Sorry, my memory failed me on that one. It says "This folder (private)".
The word view is not there. Can someone tell me what the word "(private)" means in this context? Bob "Bob S" wrote in message ... It means that the view was created with the scope "on this folder visible only to me."
