Default Distribution lists: problem with display of names (Outlook 2000)

With creating a distribution list by adding members from the available
contacts the names in the list always get "E-Mail" attached to in
brackets - sample: "John White (E-Mail)". These names are then listed
also in the recipient list of mails sent to the distribution list.

I don't like this "ugly" name appendix - is there a way to get it removed?

You can hack the contact32.dll if you really need to go to the trouble.
