I get a dialogue box asking what kind of server I have. What do I say?

The truth works. If you lie, you won't be able to connect. Call your
ISP (adelphia.net) that you are paying and ask them what values to
enter, or go read their help web pages. You need to configure your
e-mail client to use the same protocol as for whatever one that their
e-mail server uses. They know what is their setup.
