We use a public folder to share office calendars. I have one user who all
of a sudden cannot open several of the shared calendars. The problem seems to be getting worse because it was only one he couldn't open last week and now it's two. All of the other calendars open without erorr for him. The error message is: "Can't open this item. Can't create file: user name.xnk. Right-click the folder you want to create the file in, and then click Properties on the shortcut menu to check your permissons for the folder." He's running Outlook 2000 SP3 on Windows 2000 SP4 with the public folders on Exchange 2003. Following KB article 296416 does not solve the problem. I've cleared the Temporary Internet files folder and moved the OutlookSecureTempFolder to a shorter path and he's still getting the error. |
