![]() Dear Brian I had a huge struggle backing up my Outlook on my last computer, but eventually somehow managed to get it to update regularly. Although I have something called outlook backup (on new laptop, documents, vista) which i can presumab;y copy or send to external drive, I don't know how to update it because I don't know where it is. Is there an MVP website for Outlook, as with Word? "Brian Tillman" wrote: DR support wrote: why can't you import a pst file? Isn't that one of its purposes to be able to back-up and retrieve files if needed? Exporting and importing are for changing between Outlook and non-Outlook formats, not for backing up. You don't export a Word document to a Word document, do you? Backing up a PST is EASY. With Outlook closed, just COPY it. -- Brian Tillman |
