When I send an email to a list I compiled, it seems that each recipient
sees the whole list. How can I send the email to each person so he/she sees only their name and not the names of the other recipnents? 1-Is there a way to "hide" the names of the other recipients? 2-Is there a way to do more than hide the names of the others -- but to prevent the savvy recipient from seeing them? Thanx in advance. Dave |

Yes; do a mail merge to electronic mail instead of sending to a group. Your version of Word must match your version of Outlook in order to do this. 2-Is there a way to do more than hide the names of the others -- but to prevent the savvy recipient from seeing them? That's the same as hiding, isn't it? You could of course just put all the recipients in the BCC field, instead of the TO field, and put your own address in the TO field. Thanx in advance. Dave |

You have two choices. You can use the Bcc field and no one will be able to see the other recipients or you can use mail merge, which sends a separate message to each person so that there are no other recpients. -- Brian Tillman |
