Dear Users:
When I copy text from a word document or elsewhere and try to paste to a new Outlook e-mail I'm composing I get the following ICON ( a small PDF icon) and I can't paste. In order to proceed, I have to copy and try to paste again. Please help me on this matter. Artur |

the icon is unfamiliar, what PDF application do you have installed? it
sounds like you are trying to paste an object, not plain text - if you use paste special, as text it should work on one paste or paste into notepad first, then copy and paste from notepad. -- Diane Poremsky [MVP - Outlook] Author, Teach Yourself Outlook 2003 in 24 Hours Coauthor, OneNote 2003 for Windows (Visual QuickStart Guide) Need Help with Common Tasks? http://www.outlook-tips.net/beginner/ Outlook 2007: http://www.slipstick.com/outlook/ol2007/ Outlook Tips: http://www.outlook-tips.net/ Outlook & Exchange Solutions Center: http://www.slipstick.com Subscribe to Exchange Messaging Outlook newsletter: "Arturo Meneses" wrote in message ... Dear readers:
I found the answer to my problem, it's a program called Scansoft PDF cOnverter for Word. In tools/options/mail format if iI choose use word for edditing, it seems that outlook refers to Word and then the program I mention is summoned.
