Default Transferring files

I have re-installed all my software on a new hard disk. (The old hard disk
still installed and working).

How do I transfer my diary from my old disk to my new disk please?

Oh. I've never equated the two. I consider a diary to be a journal. A
calendar apprises you of appointments.
