I used to get an unopened envelope on the desktop taskbar whenever i got new
mail. This doesn't happen anymore. Please could someone tell me how to make it happen again. |

RIght-click the Notification area of the Taskbar (aka, the System Tray) and choose "Customize Notifications". Locate "You have new unopened items" in the Name column and change its behavior to "Always show". Click OK, then OK. -- Brian Tillman |

Well, I can suggest you make sure you still have the alert option turned on by clicking ToolsOptionsE-mail OptionsAdvanced E-mail Options and making sure the box labeled "Show an envelope icon in the notification area" is checked.
