Default Hyperlink to emailed documents

I want to send a collection of documents out as email attachments and
have the main document include hyperlinks to the others in appropriate
places.

How do I make those links point to the attachments and not to the
folder on my PC, which would mean they did not work for the recipient
of the message?

How would you propose to accomplish this when you cannot control where the
recipient will store the documents on his PC? No link can be predictive.

That's what I thought, but it's always worth asking in case some clever
person has an answer that I haven't thought of.....
