"Milly Staples [MVP - Outlook]"
wrote in message ... Right click on the sender's address in the TO field and select "add to contacts." Thanks for the tip. That works if and only if I chose to reply to that sender. I was looking for a way to add the sender for a received email - much like OutlookExpress does! But, working with your tip - I found a way to do it. I hit reply and then do as you suggested. Then I simply cancel the reply! Regards and thanks again. Avatar ------- -- Milly Staples [MVP - Outlook] Post all replies to the group to keep the discussion intact. Not sure but I think /I/ might be missing something! - the "To" field has YOUR address in it. the FROM field is what you use to add to Contacts. Open the email and right-click on the FROM line. |

Open the email and right-click on the FROM line. Okay - NOW I get it! I can see that the right-click on the sender's address does have the option to add to the Contact's list. After the email is opened! Earlier I could not see this option because I did not know it comes up when an email is *opened*!!! I read most email in the preview pane itself and this option is not available there! Come to think of it, I have always done that since Office 97 days! Thanks for the clarification! Till now your's and Milly's suggestions seemed to be pretty much different things altogether! All well that ends well. Regards and thanks again. Avatar ------- |
