Do you have problems opening Word docs files? You only need to do the
steps you outlined if you are having any problems. Patrick Schmid -------------- http://pschmid.net "PeterPla" wrote in message : D**n, I didn't see your post until AFTER I installed B2TR. I've been using Office 2007 beta 2 for 3+ months, all my Word docs are in B2's .docx format, and losing them is not acceptable. (An aggressive, itchy pox upon the Word team for putting us in this situation.) It sounds like I need to completely uninstall Office 2007, reinstall Office 2007 B2 (and NOT the TR), open each .docx file and Save As .doc. Is that correct? Thanks! --Peter "Patrick Schmid" wrote: The B2TR patch has some nasty surprises for users in store. The most important one being that Word 2007 Beta 2 files saved in the new file formats (extensions docx, docm, etc) might not open at all once B2TR has been installed. deleted |
