Default Outlook 2000 question

I have a friend using Outlook 2000 in a Windows environment (not sure which
release). He has a strange problem -- reading and sending new e-mail is no
problem, but when he *responds* to an e-mail, the mail is received on the
other end as trash -- looks like it's being translated into ascii code or
some other thing.

Anyone ever hear of this, or have an idea of a fix? Thanks!

Narrow this down. You'd need to determine which version of Outlook 2000,
which message format, and what transport is being used.

Default Outlook 2000 question

Sorry, don't know some of it. I know they're connected via high speed
(cox.net), and they've tried both html and plain text, with the same result.
I'll try to find out what version of Outlook 2000 they're using. Thanks!
