Hello,

I cannot access (open, forward or any of the right click menu functions)
some of the public folders on our Exchange Server when using Outlook 2007
Beta 2? I installed the product yesterday from our action pack, it worked
fine for an hour or so and then when we restarted it give theis message for
the items in two of the public folders "The item cannot be displayed in the
reading pane. Open the item to read its contents." When we try to open the
item we get "Cannot open this item" when we double click on it. When right
click and choose open we get "the operation failed" After How do we resolve
this?

Did you install the Tech Refresh? What version of Exchange?

I installed the one that came with our Action Pack. I do not think this is
the tech refresh. We are running SBS 2003 Premium Edition with SP1 and the
latest SP for Exchange I beleive.

Install the Beta 2 Technical Refresh and see if your problem is solved. It has solved a myriad of other problems.

How do I install the technical refreshes. Do I just install them over the
current installations? Or remove current installations and install the
technical refreshes? What is the recommended method?

Update on problem.

The two public folders I could not access before are listed in the
Favourites for Public folders. If I access them the the favourites they are
readable. But if I drill down to All Public Folders...... they are not
readable.

New problem - After sending a message and trying to send another one Outlook
crashes and sends an error report and give me the option of restarting
outlook. If I let it restart automatically it keeps on crashing. If I chose
not to let it restart and start it from the menu it works until I try to
send the second message.

How do I resolve this. I guess the technical refresh should solve this also.

Control Panel, Add/Remove Programs, Change Adobe Acrobat Pro 6/7 (not
the reader) and remove the Outlook & Office plugins.
