I am using POP yahoo and sending an email from my Outlook2003 to my
hotmail/Gmail/Yahoo account in HTML format. When I receive the email at my hotmail/gmail/yahoo and view that email in browser I can see that each line has one or two extra line breaks. I diid not compose the email like that. When I want to make a paragraph I just enter "Enter Key" twice. But when I receive there are 4 or more line breaks after each paragraph. Is there some setting in outlook that I need to pay attention. Why the format are not retained. Thanks |

The winmail.dat file is an attachment to a TNEF message. This is an indication that even though you think you're sending HTML, you may be sending Rich Text. Open the contact record of the recipient and double-click the email address of the contact. Examine the "Internet Format" drop-down and make sure it says "Let Outlook decide the best sending format". If that doesn't pan out, post again. -- Brian Tillman |
