Default Computer Failure

Computer has failed so have transferred the hard drive to a new machine
which is running Microsoft Vista. Have installed Office XP on this and want
to get all my mail and contacts from the old hard drive ( have al;ready
transferred my pics and music ) but have no idea where it is

What is the best way to recover my email ?

thanks

The file you need is your Personal Folders file (*.pst) It's where all the
mail, calendar, contacts etc are stored.

Take a look at these pages for info on Outlook data backup or transfer:
http://www.slipstick.com/config/backup.htm
http://www.howto-outlook.com/Howto/backupandrestore.htm

Actually I tried to cancel this message as I found a solution in a previous
posting but I had to enable view for hidden filesto do it.

Thanks anyway and I will keep those links for a rainy day :-)
