Default Password Problem

Am using Vista RC2 and XP Office and mail works ok but I have to type the
password each time even through I have ticked the save password box.
Actually the password is lost when I turn off outlook and then back on , I
can go to email accounts and have a look and no password is there. But if I
leave outlook running it remembers the password.
