I've been using Agent to download MP3 binary files. The list of MP3s is
limited while using Outlook Express 6, the list is complete. I'm using the same NNTP server but yet OE's lists a lot more MP3s. Anyway I'd like to us Outlook to dl the MP3, how do I do dat? Do I need something like, yProxy Pro v1.5? -- CB After all, "It's Hard Out Here for a Pimp" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ut-molOyHB0&eurl= |

Yes, Outlook Express can't read yEnc encoding w/o an add on such as yProxy. If you Google you'll find there are others that will also do the job. I'd suggest you stick with Agent, Outlook Express really isn't a very good newsreader. If you see more MP3s with OE than you do with Agent it's because you've configured Agent incorrectly or something else is wrong with the program or your server. I'd suggest you contact Agent's support or search out a newsgroup that offers Agent support. |
