type up a new message the format automatically give me double spaces. Now I
do have a signature, but every time I have to manual go to format and ask
for single space. Can someone help me I just want to have single spaces
everytime I type up a new message. Thank you in advance.

First, if you are using Word as the editor, allow your sentences to wrap and don't use a hard return at the end of the line.

Second, when setting up your signature, use Shift+Return for a soft return.
