I am running Exchange 2003 with Outlook 2003. I am configuring Outlook to
use a POP3 to access a user account mail box. The mailbox works fine with the exchange server, but with POP3, I get the following error message when using the user's email address with his account name and password for the log on information: Receiving' reported error (0x800CCC92) : 'Your e-mail server rejected your login. Verify your user name and password in your account properties. Under Tools, click E-mail accounts. The server responded: -ERR Logon failu unknown user name or bad password.' The POP3 works fine with my email address and using my account info for log on. I can also get it to work with his email address if I use the administrator account for the logon information. The users account is setup the same as mine with POP3 rights in exchange. The only diffence between his account and mine is the account name is the same as the email alias for my account but not for his account. That should not matter. As the error msg indicates check if the password is correct in the web mail,
