Hello,
We want to migrate from Outlook Express to Outlook as mail client and we encounter an issue with Word. When we open an old mail/template with Word and click on the "E-mail" button, the OE form appears instead of the Outlook form. Then, when sending mail, the OE account is used instead of the Outlook account. May we force Word to use Outlook? Additional informations: _Outlook is set to be the default mail client. _If we create a new mail with Word, the Outlook form appear when the "E-mail" button is clicked. Thanks for your help. Tanguy |

Tanguy Tanguy: Tiy didn't mention version of word or Outlook. There is an issue of using Office XP and Outlook 2003 not being able to e-mail from Apps. We saw this trying to e-mail Excel XP files through Outlook 2003. Eventually had to install Office 2003 on Sales people so they could do this. Everyone uses Outlook 2003 due to Exchange restrictions. |

The Office version is not relevant here. I tested this issue on several
Office versions (2000-SR1 & 2003) and the problem remains. I guess the mail client used when the doc file was created is remembered in the file but I want to overwrite it. wrote in message ps.com...
