Outlook 2003
The attachments are stored in the PST file. Is there a way to view a list of the attachments so I can determine their size. I could then delete attachments which take up too much space. Thank you for the feedback. |

the only way to do it is, from the message list, right click on one of the
column headings, pick Field Chooser, drag the Size field up to a heading, and sort by size. "John" wrote: Outlook 2003 The attachments are stored in the PST file. That did the trick.
I defined a new view definition called "My Attachment Size" using your suggestion. Is there a way to apply "My Attachment Size" View | Arrange By | Current View | My Attachment Size to every subfolder of the Inbox so when I select a subfolder "My Attachment Size" is the default view? It looks like one must manually set the view to "My Attachment Size" for each subfolder. I also noticed that if I look at the properties for the Inbox, there is a Folder Size button which gives the size of the contents of each subfolder. Thank you for the feedback. |

You could modify the default Messages view and then every folder using that view would exhibit the change. -- Brian Tillman |

![]() Brian - Thanks for the feedback. http://www.howto-outlook.com/faq/classicview2003.htm From this article, I see that the default view is the Messages view. It is too bad that you cannot select a Defined view and specify it applies to all subfolders. |
