I just built a new computer and upgraded to Outlook 2002 from 2000. Is
there a way to get my old emails and folders into the new Outlook on the new computer? I have the same question for the address book. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Jack |

There are a bunch of them, and I know where they are, (myemail in mydocs) and I have moved them to the new computer, but I don't know what to do with them. There are no files with a pst extension on my old computer. I was using OE Express before I switched to Outlook 2000 on old computer, so maybe that has something to do with this. |

Actually, I did finally find a pst file on my old computer, and moved it over with the help of the above link, and now I have my emails and folders, but I'm still trying to figure out how to move the address book. On the old computer address book, the export button is grayed out, and I can't find an address file. What do I need to do? Thanks, Jack |

If you were using OL you should have been using Contacts, which is a folder
within your pst. The windows address book, wab, is I believe used by Outlook Express, a completely different App. I 'believe' you can simply copy the wab to your new PC, then within OL import addresses. I was able to find my pst file and move it to the new computer and get my email folders and emails up and running. But when I click address book now on the new computer, I get the following message: the address list can not be displayed. The contacts list associated with the address list could not be opened; It may have been moved or deleted..." Any idea what is wrong? Thanks, Jack |
