As best I can tell, the XP SP2 critical updates sometimes cause problems for
Outlook 2007. I repair Outlook 2007, and then it runs fine until the next critical update. I have repaired Outlook eight or ten times since the initial installation. Is it the critical updats that are cuasing the problem, and if so, is there a way to avoid this problem? When will Outlook 2007 be stable? Best, Christopher |

If you think you are posting a problem that we all know about, guess again.
No one has reported similar problems. Perhaps you could post yours in detail along with steps to repro. Outlook 2007 RTM is perfectly stable. -- Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook] "Christopher Glaeser" wrote in message ... again. No one has reported similar problems. Thanks, that's good to know. I read about this issue on the net somewhere, and assumed the problems was more widespread. Perhaps you could post yours in detail along with steps to repro. Outlook 2007 RTM is perfectly stable. Next time, I'll copy down the exact error messages. Basically, when I update Windows with security patches, Outlook 2007 sometimes has be be repaired. I'll provide precise details the next time it happens. I'm running Outlook 2007 Beta 2. Is RTM a newer release and is it available for download? Best, Christopher |

The beta is over and the trial versions are available for download. If you intend to purchase Office 2007 at the end of January, a 60 day trial should tide you over until you are ready to spend your money.
