Try opening Outlook Express, then going to Tools, maintenance, store folder. Type WAB at start, run to open the address book. Or, do a search for *.dbx (the OUtlook Expresss email stores) and *.wab (windows address book). Note that as these are normally stored in folders that are helpfully marked as hidden, you may have to turn on display of hidden and system folders to see them. Office installs don't typically delete Outlook Express mail stores or Windows Address book entries. If you're actually looking for *outlook* files, do a search for *.pst files. These will also be stored in hidden folders. HTH -pk |

Outlook Express has nothing to do with Windows, so looking for old Outlook Express files won't get your Office Outlook data back. You need to get your old Office Outlook files.
