I Installed Office 2007 Pro Plus (RTM) on Windows XP
I installed WDS 3(RTM) as advised. Searching Outlook items worked for a while, then stopped. After rebooting, it worked for a while and then stopped. It has not worked since. I have tried to rebuild indexes, etc. It does find my Outlook Express newsgroup postings from my OE sent items folder. Could it be that it can only parse on Mail application, and is choosing OE instead of Outlook 2007?? -- -- Steven http://www.glimasoutheast.org |

Is that the beta WDS 3.0? It seems a tad flakey that way.

It is the WDS 3 that Office 2007 RTM had me download.
I do not see where to get the version number. -- -- Steven http://www.glimasoutheast.org "Ken Wallewein" wrote in message ... Is that the beta WDS 3.0? It seems a tad flakey that way. I fixed mine by doing two things, not scientific, doing only one may have worked.
I unchecked Outlook Express. (Maybe it only likes one email client) (It search OE fine by the way) I ran the repair option for Office 2007 in add remove programs. (I installed search after Outlook prompted me on its first use, maybe Search should be installed first) I has been working for 3 days now, fingers still crossed. -- -- Steven http://www.glimasoutheast.org "BerkHolz, Steven" wrote in message ...
