Default Outlook 2007 locks up when started

Problem 1:
Outlook 2007 locks up every time I start it. If I re-start my
computer I can open it once, it will be ok, but if I close it and then
try to re-open it later, i just get the hourglass and can't do
anything else with it. This all started with the problem below.
Problem 2:
Outlook 2007 downloads my mail from the server, but never displays it
anywhere. I checked my filters/trash/etc, but I can't find the
messages anywhere. They are on the server (checked through a webmail
interface) before outlook starts, and they are gone after outlook
downloads them, but I can never find them.

Any help on either problem would be appreciated.

Also, This is an upgraded version of 2007 from 2003. 2003 worked
perfectly

TIA

I figured out the problem. I started uninstalling programs 1 at a
time and found outlook 2007 and winfax don't agree with one another.
Uninstalling winfax fixed both problems. Thanks anyway

WinFax hasn't gotten along with Outlook for quite some time now.
