I upgraded to Outlook 2003 on a new machine, and copied my PST file from
OL2000 over. Then I removed the default PST file Outlook created and when I launched Outlook, it prompted me to fine the PST file. I have always used this method, which I read on google, to point OL to my data store. I set up OL2003 so that I can send mail from home. I'm not using Exchange, just a POP account. Emailing works fine. MY PROBLEM is: I can see all of my contacts, but when I type in names in the "To:" box, none of them resolve. When I start typing in a name that I know is in the Contacts list, then Ctrl + K, I get prompted with a blank dialog. When I click "Show More Names...", I get a message "The address list could not be displayed. The Contacts list associated with this address list could not be opened. It may have been moved or deleted, or you do not have permissions..." ? Can someone please help me get access to my contacts? I can edit them in the Contacts area. All of my appointments work too. Just not the contacts. Thanks. |
