Are there any error messages and/or numbers?
What happens why you try to receive messages? -- Kathleen Orland Outlook Tips: http://www.outlook-tips.net/ http://www.howto-outlook.com/ "hldove1" wrote: Outlook 2003: I can send but cannot receive messages. No error messages or numbers. Nothing happens; just no messages received.
Indications are 'sending messages accomplished' while the comment receiving messages never shows a response 'accomplished or otherwise'. Thanks for trying to help. "K. If you can send but not receive, either you have the wrong SMTP
(incoming mail) address, or the Internet Service Provider (ISP) you use blocks port 25 which is used for incoming mail. For example, Verizon and many other ISPs block port 25 for any domains other than their own. In other words, you can send/receive Verizon mail without a problem, but you won't be able to receive mail from other accounts/ domains (e.g @hotmail.com, @gmail.com, etc).
