Hi,
I have accidently deleted the Inbox folder, and have closed outlook so it has also gone from Deleted Items. I have tried using the Inbox Repair Tool. Although this did report errors and "fixed them", after running the repair tool outllook would not open at all. It would just crash each time I tried to open it. I had taken a backup prior to running the repair tool, so I am back to square one: Outllook opens fine, but I do not have an Inbox, so when I try a "send and receive" I get an error because there is no Inbox to put new emails into. I am using Outlook 2003 on win XP Home. Any ideas? |

Thanks Christian,
Have tried that with no joy unfortunately. Bets solution seems to be to create a whole new data file and copy folders across. Very longwinded solution to what seems like a simple problem Many thanks for the advice.
