Not sure if anyone has done a search with the word "enter Network
Password"...but this appears to be a very COMMON problem in Outlook 2003 & 2007...with NO SOLUTION. Not only do I have the same problem, but I know of another 30+ users with the same problem. I have erased and resaved the passwords. I have tried deleting the email account in Outlook and re-creating it. I have tried deleting the profile and re-creating it. I have tried the knowledge base article on making the registry change to the Protected Storage key. All XP Pro updates have been installed as well as the updates for Office. NOTHING has solved the problem. In many of these situations, the user has had the problem immediately after setting up the email account. ALL settings are known to be correct. If ANYONE has a solution, Please let me know. Thank you! |

I've remember dimly having this be an issue in Windows 98 a million years
ago. I have no clue how I fixed it. However, perhaps this article will help you: http://www.newmediamusings.com/blog/...on_to_ent.html Good luck, Stephan "Debi Clayton" wrote in message ...
