Christian,
Sent the files to you yesterday. Did you see anything suspect? Paul "Christian Carroll [MSFT]" wrote in message ... Hi Paul, Would you be willing to send me those log files? I am in contact with Level 4 Tech support at Microsoft (Research level?). They've played with the machine via EasyAssist and said "we'll get back to you, we don't know" Problem appears to be an Outlook 2007 issue since WMDC does work for Files and for Pocket Quicken ???? Paul "Christian Carroll [MSFT]" wrote in message ... Hi Paul, It will be a bit of a pain, but you might try creating a new Outlook profile. Once you get the new profile created, set it as the default. Hi Paul, Have you installed Windows Mobile Device Center? You did not mention Windows Mobile Device Center anywhere in your post, so was wondering if you have installed it. Windows Mobile Device Center is needed to sync Outlook data with your device. You can install Windows Mobile Device Center from http://www.microsoft.com/windowsmobi...icecenter.mspx. Also, do you see a Windows Mobile Device Center icon under Control Panel - Classic View? If yes, then would you be able to tell me what comes up by clicking on the icon? I can connect my Pocket PC to the system. The Sync'd Files operates correctly in both directions. Sync'ing to Outlook 2007 does not. Changes on the PPC are not recorded to Outlook nor are changes to Outlook recorded back to the PPC. I also run Pocket Quicken thru the same connection. It works fine. All things point towards a problem with Outlook2007 I've called tech support and the issue has risen thru three levels of tech support. We've deleted, restored, reinstalled, scrubbed registry, booted with all services but essential ones - all the things you would normally do and still no joy. I am awaiting a call-back from the Research Team now. Has anyone else run into this? All other aspects of the machines work normally. The PPC sync'd to Outlook2003 and WinXP without any problems. Ain't it fun being on the Bleeding Edge? You meet some of the nicest guys while talking to tech support. Paul |

any news here? Good question. I'm experiencing the same situation as you. I've got a Qtek S200 (WWE), Vista Business (EN) and Outlook 2007 (pt-BR). I am able to access the PPC's file system and sync my Contacts, but it seems that the process hangs when it starts to sync appointments. And the most weird of all: mye Qtek HANGS during the synchronization in such a way that I can only soft-reset it by removing the battery and waiting a while. I've never seen this before! Hope our fellow Microsoft specialists have already detected the problem and are working at a solution. "Fred" wrote: any news here? "Sarah S." Sarah schrieb im Newsbeitrag ... Looks like I have the same problem as Paul: Vista Ultimate, Windows Mobile
Device Center installed, only release versions, no beta. My Windows Smartphone 2003 (Motorola MPx220) can sync to the Exchange server, but I want to sync contacts and calendar to the local machine instead of directly sync'ing with Exchange (because I want to filter by category). This doesn't work, it just doesn't sync any calender or contact data. No error messages. Same worked without problem with Outlook 2003 on XP. Any ideas? Thanks, Stefan "Paul P" wrote in message ... I have also had problems with this and no solution. I imagine MS has to
acknowledge the problem and I hope there may be a fix. Does anyone know anything yet? I tried to use virtual pc 2007 with xp, outlook 2003 but it can't see usb devices. I do love MS products but this stuff is very frustrating. If anyone has anything can you please get with me at nctarheelfan@gmail Thanks, Brad "Stefan Krueger [MVP]" wrote: Looks like I have the same problem as Paul: Vista Ultimate, Windows Mobile Device Center installed, only release versions, no beta.
