Outlook 2000 Hangs for 3-5 minutes on startup. Help!
I have the strangest problem. Outlook 2000 will hang for 3-5 minutes
on startup. I get past the splash screen, into my inbox. Then I get the hour glass for a cursor and if i try to exit it says program not responding. I have tried uninstalling/reinstalling. I have tried Safe Mode. I have tried the "safe" switch while in safe mode. Nothing works. Please help. Thanks In advance!

I have tried the "safe" switch while in safe mode. Nothing works. A couple of things come to mind. Try deleting the (hidden) file %AppData%\Microsoft\Outlook\outcmd.dat and then starting Outlook. Also, check to make sure your have no network drives. -- Brian Tillman
