I jumped to selection 2. and did a re-install. It worked! Thanks for
hanging in there with me. Many times and don't get a second answer to my infrequent questions. On Sun, 4 Mar 2007 17:01:41 -0800, "F.H. Muffman" wrote: "Don Smith" wrote in message .. . when I go to that file, it is already there, but still when I hit an email link, I get," operation failed." Ok, I'm throwing this out while I keep looking for something that I vaguely remember, I would try two things: 1) Change the default mail handler in IE to something else, say OE, ok all the way out then go back in and change it back to Outlook. 2) Do a repair install of Outlook through Detect and Repair on the Help menu. What I'm vaguely remembering is that the problem was from a DLL not being registered properly. Unfortunately, I'm not finding any evidence of that being the cause of this at all, which, needless to say, is bugging me =) |
