What do you mean you "moved to 2003 exchange" and how did you migrate?
A fax recipient will only appear in the address book if their fax address is valid, resolved, and resides in the same folder you are showing in the address book view. -- Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook] "Rich Hall" wrote in message ... Russ,
I installed a new server, and copied the contact entries from the old server to this new one. I didn't have this issue in 5.5. We've always had plain fax numbers in the fax field and it worked. If I edit the fax number, then save and close it shows up. Odd. Thanks, Rich Hall "Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook]" wrote in message ... Sadly, not odd at all. Just another of Outlook's manifest deficiencies.
Inexplicably, Outlook is unable to migrate its data without disrupting its autoresolution connections. There is no excuse for this. I have complained about this for centuries. Please do the same through whatever support connections you might have. Microsoft is not getting the message. -- Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook] "Rich Hall" wrote in message ...
