Hi all...

I am running a network of around 50 Pcs, and have realised that
forward rules setup in Outlook are intermittently working... or not
working.


All of the rules are the same, they are forward all mail rules, with
the exception of internal mail (I use a distribution group called
Everybody in Sydney etc etc.)

If the user doesnt want personal email forwarded, they add that
particular contact to the rule.


For example, yesterday I discovered a rule not working. Turned off the
rule, then turned it back on, and it started working again.

Today its not working again.....

Does anyone have an idea of whats going on here??



I did a bit of a search on the forums, and people talk about client/
server based rules, which I remember being an option in exch 5.5.. but
I dont get that option in exch2003.

All users are using cached mode if that makes any difference.
