Default Outlook 2007 Locks up

Outlook 2007 locks up almost every time it is open. It is an Office 2007
Enterprise installation on a clean, updated XP workstation.

I just unistalled Outlook and Reinstalled it with no improvement

What to do ?

Try disabling the RSS feeds to see if that helps. Does Outlook use Word as
the email editor?

did you upgrade from an earlier version of outlook? If so, try a new profile
or delete/rename outcmd.dat, extend.dat, frmcache.dat, views.dat - the first
2 files will probably be enough for more people BTW. Either or both of these
will work for most people.

Additionally, if you are using a pst made in an old version of outlook, this
is one time it might be a good idea to import into a new pst.

Finally, if you are using a newer dell with media direct, uninstall the
outlook setup addin by cyberlink.
