Hello all and Thanks in advance,
My boss just called me about troubles hes having in Outlook XP. Hes working from a hotel room, and his notebook (some dell thing running xp pro) is connected to a public wifi net. From what he says, when he tries to send/receive he gets an error box that says "IMAP has received an unrecognized greeting" or something. I verified that he is running on the right ports for our POP accounts, and was disappointed to learn that for Outlook XP, the test account settings button is different than in 2003 (the version we have at the office). I'm no Microsoft guy, and definitely don't know much about Outlook, so any help you could offer would be Highly Appreciated. Thanks!! |
