Default how to set-up email account in outlook 2007?

I want to set-up email accounts in outlook 2007. I have done everything
correctly with set-up from the instructions given by outlook but i still
could log in. For some reason, it says incoming server does not recognise my
email id and password. Also, i also could not log in with the username and
password i typed. anybody please help me. It is getting my head around too
much.

do you have hotmail or msn email, if so you need to apply the following
fix...

Default how to set-up email account in outlook 2007?

Thank you very much, Laura. I did as you said but the updates could not be
installed. After running the updates, a set-up error dialog box pops-up and
says
'not enough storage available to process this command'. I wish if it had
been lot easier for a non-tech person like me.

sorry, i forgot to mention, i presume the download is only for XP, i use
vista, please correct me if i am wrong.

yes - this download is for XP, and not for Vista.

have you checked the box to remember your password ?
have you specified HTTP mail ?
