Hi,
I recently switch from OE to Outlook and one of the differences I found was that attached photo's are no longer being automatically opened as I had in OE. For instance, in OE, when I received an email with several attached photos, these photo's we visible on the email page and could all be seen as I scroll down the page. But with Outlook, I no longer seem to have this option and I have to individually double click on each and every photo in order to see it. I've tried looking in the Outlook help file. But couldn't find and answer. Is it possible to have this option with Outlook? Karen |

The sender can, however, embed the images if using Rich Text or HTML format messages. Then you'd see them inline. -- Brian Tillman |

I guess the removal of this option has some connection to security against viruses or something. Anyway, I think the best option now would be to simply copy the photo's to a folder and look at them there. Karen |

The option was never "removed." By design, Outlook does not display attached
images inline. Outlook is a business application. OE is targeted to consumers and the needs of the two groups are different in this area. Exchange Administrators consider inline display a security issue and don't want it. -- Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook] "kt" wrote in message ...
