Message Expires
In outlook 2007, there is an option to set Message Expiration. The default
is 180 Days. Is this to say that after 180 the message will no longer be accessible to the recipient? Will it be deleted? Will this work the same for Outlook or Exchange rcpts as well as other email / internet rcpts? Regards. wp

First, answering the last question, no, internet recipients won't (to my knowledge) see anything when it comes to an expired message. As for a user on your Exchange server. If the message has never been read and is in the Exchange Server and in the Inbox (ie, not a pst), it should be deleted. If the message is marked as read, or is in a PST, it should change to the grey font and overstrike. There are two-ish situations I'm not sure about. If the message is read and then marked as unread, I'm not sure if the message will actually autodelete, or just crossout. Also, I'm not entirely sure what happens if the message is in a different folder in the Exchange store. It should be deleted, but I never actually ended up testing it. -- f.h.
