First off, sorry for the cross posts - they seemed appropriate.
I am attempting to set up a rule to (among other things) reply to an email that matches certain criteria. Unfortunately the rule responds to the email address that sent the email, rather than the "reply-to" field - which is what I want. (even a reply to all would make me happy) Is there a way to do this in Outlook (or any other program?) I would prefer not to have to write my own pop3 and smtp client just to respond to the correct emails. Perhaps there is a way with a two-step rule? A script or other parsing might also work. The body of the email also contains the address i would like to respond to - but that is not something i want to parse and code. If someone suggests how to do it I would try it though. thanks, tim |
