I am trying to delete some email addresses from my address book and
keep getting the message on an error in Oulook3.pst run repair. I do this and the repair says it is successful but as soon as I try again to delete the file I get the message again. Any ideas on how to fix this problem? Thanks Dave |

Explain more clearly what you're doing. Outlook has no address book and the
address book view should never be used for data entry or editing. -- Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook] wrote in message ups.com... I am using XP Pro with Outlook 2003. Contact information has popped
up in my mail inbox. When I try to delete it it tells me there is an error in Outlook3.pst and to run the repair program. I do this and I still can't delete the file. I also have a problem with my reminders box opening every time I open Outlook and can't delete any of the reminders. I have never had a problem llike this and I am just lost on how to fix it. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Dave On Apr 29, 8:01 am, "Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook]" wrote: Explain more clearly what you're doing. What steps lead up to these problems? What do you mean by "Contact
information has popped up in my mail inbox?" How are you repairing the file? -- Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook] wrote in message ups.com... I am using XP Pro with Outlook 2003. Nothing happens just all by itself for no reason. I still can't tell what
you mean by "Contact information has popped into my inbox." With nothing to go on, you should keep running the repair program until it finds no errors. Then create a new Outlook profile. -- Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook] wrote in message ups.com... On Apr 30, 4:06 pm, "Russ Valentine [MVP-Outlook]" wrote: What steps lead up to these problems?
