Default Outlook 2007 & Vista

I have a Gateway laptop that came with MS Works. I purchased an upgrade MS
Office 2007 disk. Everything else works fine, except Outlook. It begins to
load with a "Configuring Outlook" box. "MigratingAccont Settings" is in
bold, with "Migrating Preferences" and "Importing User Data" below. It never
changes. I have let it "run" for 24 hours with no change. I can only close
it by using Task Manager which shows that it is not responding.

Any suggestions?

Thanks,
Fran

Is the Control Panel you refer to in Outlook? If so, it is unaccessible,
since it never gets past the automatic "Configuring Outlook" and Not
Responding.
