Default want database to appear as Outlook Address Book

We have an existing database which we maintain daily. It contains email
addresses. Is there a way for Outlook to use it as an address book? Can we
make it available as a company wide resource? I don't want to use
import/export because then you either have two copies to maintain or you
have a daily, labor intensive, error prone job to be performed.

thanks for your advice.

Default want database to appear as Outlook Address Book

You should note that I waited two days before choosing a different forum and
posting a request for help. The problem is that in the other forum, I also
received a reply that didn't answer my question. So, like your non-answer
below, people will see that I received a reply and then not jump in to help.
Now it seems my only choice is to wait several weeks, and post yet another
request for help on this subject.

It would be most helpful to not reply to a post if you can't help.

Default IS THERE A MODERATOR HERE? WHY IS RUSS ALLOWED TO BE SO INSULTING?

Russ,

Why are we writing these words to each other and not focusing on the
technical issue? You have now written four replies to me without providing
one stitch of assistance. Not only that but you're wrong. The two posts
below come two days after my original post.

....and the only reason I posted them is because your insulting demeanor
failed to provide any solution to the original post but simply smart-mouthed
me for some reason which I fail to understand.

....and so here I am, still without a solution and wondering why are you
allowed to fill this forum with such garbage? No doubt you'll reply once
again without providing any help at all.

Telling you to follow newsgroup etiquette (no multiposting, no caps) is
not insulting. The people who reply here have to sift through hundreds
of messages per day. It shows a lack of respect on your part towards the
people replying (who are all volunteers, users like you, who reply in
their free time) if you multipost.
There is no moderator here (these are newsgroups, not forums) and you
not following newsgroup etiquette and insulting a regular poster will
get you no answer at all.

Ironically, Sue already posted a solution to one of your other posts.
That's one of the reasons we advise against multiposting.
