How do I turn off overtyping in Outook

I cannot find where to go to stop the overtyping in Outlook...when you are
typing and if you miss a word or thought I am not able to put the cursor in
the space and insert the word without it overtyping the words in the rest of
the sentence....

Hit the "Insert" key on your keyboard.

thank you... i thought there was something to check in the tools box or
something... I was trying far too hard... Thanks again.. kathy
