Default Outlook XP - Incoming Mail Dialogue Box

Hi,

I currently use Outlook XP with the 'Display a notification message when new
mail arrives' function enabled.

I have 2 email accounts set up and working fine, 1 POP3 and 1 IMAP.

When I receive a message via the IMAP account, the dialogue box appears. If
I click 'Read Now', the message displayed is the last message that was
delivered by POP3.

I have googled untill I'm blue in the face but I cant seem to find an
answer.

Does anyone have any ideas?

Regards,

Chris

Is that the dialog that is created with Rules? If so, it only works with
POP3... even if it's not done via rules, it may be a limitation of the
dialog that it only works with POP3.

Hi,

Thanks for your response.

The box is not created by a message rule, it is created using the tick box
in the Email Options page of the general tool / email options menu.

Thanks anyway...

Chris
